The end product of this product will be a car that runs without being connected to a computer terminal. Instead, it will be controlled by wireless signals emitted from a handheld RC Controller. The chassis of the car will be built in the machine shop and modeled in SolidWorks. The innards of the car (motors, gears, RC reciever etc) will be borrowed from a robotics kit.
