Add a Calculated Grade Column

In Grade Center, you can add columns that will perform grade calculations. There are four different kinds of calculated grade columns: Weighted, Total, Average, and Minimum/Maximum. Adding the Average and Minimum/Maximum grade columns is very similar to adding a Total column with just a few additional options.

Follow these steps to add a total points calculated grade column:

1. In the Control Panel area, under the Assessment area, click the Grade Center link.

2. In the Grade Center, click the Action Link button next to Add Calculated Column in the Action Bar. Click the Total link.

3. The Add Total Column page will appear. Enter the column name and/or set appropriate options. Click the Submit button when done.

4. You will return to the Grade Center. A new total points calculated grade column will be added to the far right side of the Grade Center.
