You may customize several aspects of your home tab's display.

Course List

Don't want to see every course you've ever taken listed on your Bb home page? You can clean up this list in a flash. Click the small pencil icon on the right-hand edge of the My Courses box. You'll see a list of all the courses you've been enrolled in that are still available on the system. Unclick the checkboxes for anything you don't want to see on your front page (course name and announcements), and click "Submit" at the bottom. You're done!

Click the Contents button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. Go through the list and check and un-check boxes, to add or subtract modules from your display. Some of the available modules include news headlines, weather, and local information from your college.

Click the Layout button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. In the top section of this screen, you can designate the order in which items appear on your page, and which appear on the right side and the left side.

On the bottom section of this screen, you can customize your color scheme.

You can set your Blackboard menus to appear in any of several languages: English, Spanish, French, or Italian. On your home tab, look for the Tools box on the left side of the screen. Click Personal Information, then Set Locale. Select your language and click Submit.
