How do I upload documents into my course?

You may have your campus library prepare scanned versions of course documents that can be loaded into your Blackboard courses. Each library has slightly different policies and may need up to two weeks for processing. Instructions are posted here:

To load documents into Blackboard yourself:

Single document at a time:

  • Go into the Control Panel of the course you want to add documents to.
  • Choose the content area from the top left box.
  • Click the add item icon.
  • Type in a Title for the item.
  • If desired, type in a description or other information in the text box.
  • Click the "Browse" button to find the file on your computer to upload.
  • Set any desired options.
  • Click submit.
