Talk:Heterodox theories of economics

"you might want to talk about incorporating alternative approaches from other social sciences--e.g., sociology of economics and behavioral economics/psychology. I know the wiki addresses alternative approaches in the section on post colonial theory and queer theory which come, I think, from the literary side (at least originally). I think the connections to other social sciences fit in with the idea of helping students see how the economics relates to their own lives, rather than just seeing the material as a series of abstract concepts. I think part of the reasons students react so strongly (and positively) to behavioral economics is exactly this reason." EM
