Uygur
Kam/Dong (Southern? Northern?)
- Uses a Vietnamese based alphabet for native speakers and a Chinese based system for linguists, thus analytic. This language seems to use very little inflectional morphology, similar to Chinese.
- Around 1.5 million speakers, around Guizhou Guangxi and Hunan China.
- Other languages: Chinese
- Orthography: Chinese-based for linguists and Vietnamese-based for native speakers.
