Generator Evaluation
Initial Evaluation of Morphological Generation
- All tests pass
Notes
- The Past case test does not work (as gold), as it changes the root quite a bit. Most tests don't match gold as there are several forms. Removed gender from transducer as it is largely derivational.
- Coverage in the beginning = 102/1163 (8.7%).
- Coverage now after adding 3 words and their golds: 176/1163 (15.1%)
- Number of stems in the transducer: 20
- Interesting note: the word "God" is translated into Limbu as their own word for God (ᤏᤡᤱᤘᤠ᤹ᤑᤢᤔᤠᤱᤅᤡᤸᤗᤧ), which is the Omniscient god they believe in, in the Kirat Mundhum faith. There was no attempt to transcribe YHWH into Limbu, rather the already present God was used.
