Contents
Kiowa (ISO: kio)
===Number of Speakers=== Kiowa has roughly 400 speakers.
Likelihood of finding text
High; there is text available online[2], but the writing system does not seem to match the writing system claimed by Wikipedia[3], which might cause some confusion.
Location
Primarily west central Oklahoma.
Morphological Typology
Kiowa appears to be synthetic or even agglutinative, as many morphemes seem to be able to combine into a word that can have the meaning of an entire proposition. (Inferred from the text linked above.)
Other
Language classified as "moribund" by Ethnologue.
Kikuyu
Language 2: Gikuyu/Kikuyu (ISO: kik)
Number of Speakers: 6,623,000
Likelihood of finding text: Guaranteed [4]
Spoken in various parts of Kenya.
Gikuyu seems to be mostly synthetic, although I am not certain. Texts (such as the one linked above) can have somewhat long words that appear to be formed of numerous morphemes.
Major concern is that resources might already exist for Gikuyu given its size. I cannot, however, find any significant resources.
Lakota
Language 3: Lakota (ISO: lkt)
Number of Speakers: 2,000
Likelihood of finding text: Very high
Spoken in parts of Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
According to wikipedia[5], prefixes and suffixes exist in Lakota, suggesting that it is not analytic and probably synthetic.
