Structural Transfer Rule

We worked on Contrastive Grammar #1: "For clauses with transitive verbs, in Japhug the object generally precedes the verb (and follows the subject). In English however the object follows the verb."

Instead of switching the object with a verb, we switched the object with a determiner.

So lɯlu nɯ kɯ (direct translation: cat that with) outputs #that #cat instead of #cat #that.

Our transfer rule successfully switched the object (cat) with the determiner (nɯ).
