Transducer
This is an Apertium monolingual language package for Nheengatú. This language package can be used for:
- Morphological analysis of Nheengatú
- Morphological generation of Nheengatú
- Part-of-speech tagging of Nheengatú
Evaluation
Notes
Initially, the transducer passed only 19 tests. This happened due to issues on the lexicon of the lexd file: a few of the tags weren't defined so the transducer couldn't analyze the tests properly. Some of the forms that failed, however, such as the Perfect, Impecfect, Future, and Negative forms don't rely on morphotactics therefore couldn't be defined as of now.
