2. Possession marked on nouns
   • (ady) сыгу → (eng) my heart
   • (ady) сищ → (eng) my horse
3. Subjects and objects are marked on verbs
   • (ady) сигъэпцӏагъэти → (eng) he deceived me
4. Prepositions marked on verbs
   • (ady) тыфакӏо → (eng) we are going for him
5. Differing word order (SOV)
   • (ady) Тхьэр ошъо гъэӏагъэм «уашъокӏэ» еджагъ. → (eng) God called the heavenly expanse "sky".
