Expanding the structural transfer from Amis to English
Goals
- Structural Transfer Rules:
- adding the det 'the' before nom + n tags
- make the VSO -> SVO transfer work with compound objects
- add an adjective reordering rule
- make the VSO -> SVO transfer work for more sentences
- Lexical selection rule for the word 'aku' to translate to 'my' versus 'I'
- To accomplish the previous, add a dictionary entry for the 'aku' -> 'my' stransfer
- clean up/ add names to reduce '#'d words
Results
- WER: 106 -> 102
- PER: 95 -> 93
